Terms of Service

Last updated June 12, 2026

These terms cover your use of Stoop. By using the app you agree to them. We've kept them plain.

Using Stoop

Stoop is a tool for scoring and comparing apartments with the people you're deciding with. You're responsible for your account and for what you add. Don't use Stoop to break the law, infringe others' rights, scrape or overload it, or post content you don't have the right to share.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add — your scores, notes, comments, and the listings you paste. You grant us the permission needed to store and display that content to you and the collaborators in your searches, so the product works.

Listing details and photos belong to their sources. Stoop links to source-hosted photos and stores only factual listing details; you shouldn't upload media you don't have the right to use.

Free, for now

Stoop is currently free to use. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll make the terms clear before you're charged.

Not housing advice

Stoop helps you organize a decision; it doesn't make it for you. Listing data can be incomplete or out of date, commute estimates are approximate, and we don't verify listings. Confirm the important details with the source and the landlord or agent before you act.

Availability & changes

We're actively building Stoop, so features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We may update these terms; if we make material changes we'll post them here with a new date.

Accounts & termination

You can stop using Stoop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access that violates these terms or risks harm to the service or other people.

Disclaimers & liability

Stoop is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months (which, while Stoop is free, is zero).

This page is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. It describes how Stoop currently works; we'll have it reviewed by counsel before any wider launch, and we'll post material changes here.
